My name is Jeff Muir. I started this blog in September 2006 to get more involved with the Citrix community. I have enjoyed writing about Citrix history from my perspective.
I graduated from the University of Arizona in December 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
I am a current Citrix employee and have worked with the company for 12 years. I first started in 1993 (employee number 54) after having left IBM where I started working in 1989. I moved to Australia in 1997 and rejoined Citrix in 1999.
Initially I focused on operating systems while working at IBM and Citrix. By 1995 I shifted focus to the Citrix client.
I work from home near Brisbane, Australia and belong the Citrix Advanced Products Group based out of North Ryde near Sydney.
This blog is mostly about Citrix with a mixture of history and current products.
